Poem
William Lloyd Garrison tells about the places and people he's visited on his trip abroad. He also gives information about his upcoming travel plans. Garrison writes: "Dear Mr. May, of Leicester, has written to me in a very tender and appreciative manner respecting the death and burial of our faithful anti-slavery coadjutor Edmund Quincy. I was not at home at the time, but with Fanny and family New York getting ready to embark for England."
There is an unrelated, undated, printed poem with Call No. Ms.A.1.2 v.41, p.71b. It is entitled "He Who Died at Azim," from the Arabic. It has editorial corrections and is perhaps a proof (printed matter)
